email shift experience
Like every normal(?) person, my main email box is filled with random automatic emails. Here is a newsletter, there is a notification for an order, receipts, and terms or privacy changes. They are important emails, but they also make me feel that email is more like a sophisticated notification system.
Almost all emails I receive could be summarized as follows:
Subject: Do Not Reply |
---|
Body: Here is something that happened |
Of course, there are some other interactions with actual people or businesses. But they are official and usually not that exciting.
Surprisingly, this notion shifted when I started this blog. Since there is no comments section, people simply send emails (just like I do).
This makes small interactions happen via email. And you know what? Itβs lovely to participate in these interactions via email.
